About The Position

Normandy Farm Hotel & Conference is seeking a qualified individual who is interested in working in an upscale hospitality environment. We are seeking a reliable and service-oriented Banquet Support Attendant to join our hospitality team. This hybrid role supports breakfast service and banquet operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Previous Food & Beverage or hospitality experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of service standards, guest relations, and food & beverage operations
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and special events
  • Professional appearance and punctual attendance required
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and reaching
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs independently and up to 50 lbs with assistance
  • Ability to move tables, chairs, and equipment weighing approximately 40 lbs
  • Flexibility, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with a warm, friendly demeanor and provide prompt, professional service
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members and other departments
  • Communicate effectively with Banquet Captain and Management to ensure seamless event execution
  • Attend and participate in all training sessions and team meetings
  • Set up, maintain, and break down breakfast service areas
  • Maintain buffet and food stations, ensuring cleanliness and proper stock levels
  • Run food trays to and from the kitchen and assist servers during service
  • Clear tables and transport dishes, glassware, and utensils to dishwashing areas
  • Set up and break down banquet rooms according to event orders and floor plans
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet rooms, hallways, storage, and service areas
  • Monitor and maintain banquet inventory including linens, chairs, dishes, and décor
  • Return all equipment to proper storage, ensuring it is clean and in good working order
  • Notify management of any equipment issues or needed repairs
