As a Banquet Supervisor at our premium banquet, you’ll be an integral part of a small, committed team that prides itself on delivering standout experiences to customers. You must have full knowledge of menu design and budget management with at least 3 years of Managerial experience in similar role. Job brief We are looking for a Banquet Supervisor to lead a team of kitchen and wait staff and make sure they deliver excellent customer service. Banquet Supervisor responsibilities include planning food and beverage menus, assisting Operation manager for room set up as per plan and coordinating food preparation and serving during events. To be successful in this role, you should have work experience in catering or hospitality and solid organizational abilities. Ultimately, you will ensure that we run efficient catering facilities and help increase our clientele. The Sapphire Grand is a special venue designed to host all the major celebrations of life and make them memorable. No event is out of our scope; we host a variety of personal, social and corporate gatherings. Our event planners and kitchen staff (led by an expert chef) strive to understand your vision to give our guests the kind of celebration they seek. Requirements

  • Previous experience in banquet supervision or a similar role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • full knowledge of menu design and budget management with at least 3 years of Managerial experience in similar role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all banquet operations during weddings and events
  • Coordinate with catering and service staff to ensure seamless execution
  • Ensure all setup and breakdown processes are efficient and organized
  • Address any guest concerns or issues promptly
  • Maintain high standards of service and cleanliness
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Train and manage wait staff
  • Schedule staff shifts
  • Arrange food tastings with potential customers
