Complimentary Golf Booking window after 2pm the day before requested tee time Must be approved by the Head Golf Professional Up to three complimentary guests POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Banquet Setup/Server. This role will be This role will be involved in all aspects of banquet events, ensuring proper setup, service and breakdown.

Requirements

The Banquet Setup/Server must have strong communication skills and be highly detail oriented.
They should also have excellent customer service skills, as they will be interacting with guests throughout events and daily operations.
They should be able to take direction from the event sales coordinator and manager on duty to effectively set up and ensure event operations.
Knowledge of applicable local alcohol laws
TIPS Certification or ability to obtain Certification within first 30 days
Comparable alcohol education course may be substituted

Nice To Haves

ServSafe certification is a plus
Degree in hospitality management or a related field is a plus
Experience with Lightspeed POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
Experience in resort or golf course settings is a plus.
Experience in a restaurant, banquet or event service role is a plus.

Responsibilities

Set up tables, chairs, and other equipment according to event specifications.
Arrange tables and chairs in desired layouts (e.g., banquet style, round tables, etc.).
Set up and arrange decorations as specified, including but not limited to steaming linens, setting up tablecloths, place setting and drink stations as required by event banquet event orders.
Ensure the venue is clean and tidy before, during, and after events.
Properly handle and store tables, chairs, and other equipment.
Clean and sanitize tables and chairs.
Maintain a clean and organized storage area for equipment and supplies.
Know how to assemble and disassemble equipment.
Ensure all equipment is in good working order.
Assist with the breakdown of events after they are over.
Adhere to health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and sanitized workspace.
Set up and maintain beverage stations during food and beverage events.
Serve the hosts and guests of events as necessary.
Serve for a variety of events, including but not limited to buffets, sit-down dinners, and hors d'oeuvres parties.
Assist with the flow of events, ensuring that all guests are served in a timely and efficient manner.
Set up bars for events involving alcoholic beverage service.
Prepare alcoholic beverages, including beer, wine and liquor, for event guests.
Adhere to state and federal regulations regarding alcoholic beverage service.
Enter sales in POS system accurately when the event involves purchase transactions.
Collects monies owed for food and beverage when the event involves purchase transactions.
Clear dishes, glassware, flatware and linens once the event has ended.
Communicate with event sales coordinator, front of house restaurant management and clients to ensure that their needs and expectations are met.
Handle any guest concerns or issues that may arise during the event, reporting to the manager on duty when necessary.
When there are no events, assist with maintenance of event space organization
The Banquet Setup/Server may also perform other duties as required by management.
