What you will have an opportunity to do: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Banquet Setup Attendant to join our team. This role is responsible for setting up, breaking down, and maintaining event spaces to ensure each function is executed smoothly and to the highest standard.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability under pressure
  • Passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience
  • Ability to remain on feet for extended periods, including walking and stair climbing
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull items
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs at shoulder height frequently, and up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Ability to bend, squat, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift

Responsibilities

  • Set up and break down banquet rooms according to event orders and floor plans
  • Arrange tables, chairs, stages, dance floors, linens, and equipment as required
  • Ensure all event spaces are clean, organized, and properly prepared prior to guest arrival
  • Follow verbal and written instructions accurately and efficiently
  • Communicate effectively with banquet leadership and team members throughout shifts
  • Assist with adjustments and last-minute changes to event setups as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and banquet equipment
  • Ensure all setups meet brand and event standards
