As a part time Banquet Set Up team member at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, your role is to prepare event spaces by setting up tables and chairs, cleaning and vacuuming carpets, and ensuring everything is guest-ready for a memorable event.   • Set up banquet spaces as per Banquet Event Order (BEO) and provide customer service per contract.
  • Assist in maintaining and coordinating banquet rooms, including setup, upkeep, breakdown, and cleaning.
  • Maintain banquet facility cleanliness by cleaning and vacuuming carpets.
  • Work reliably in a 24-hour operation, accommodating varied schedules and high-pressure situations.
  • Aid in serving guests as necessary and understand event setup requirements.
  • Organize and restock linen room and supplies, attending mandatory department meetings and trainings.
  • Uphold quality and service standards.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry 100 lbs.
  • Knowledge of appropriate table settings and proper set-up as well as have basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
  • Must be detail-orientated, able to multi-task, produce high quality and accurate work as well as show professionalism in all facets of the workplace.
  • Must be able to represent the company in a professional, well-groomed and courteous manner at all times.
  • Ability to obtain any government required licenses or certification.
  • Previous hospitality/customer service experience.
  • A high school diploma.
