About The Position

The Banquet Set-Up Attendant, under the supervision of the Banquet Captain, is responsible for the timely and accurate arrangement and breakdown of tables, chairs, and other furnishings for banquet events. This role ensures each room is prepared according to floor plans and event specifications, often requiring multiple setups and takedowns in a single day. Attendants must maintain cleanliness in banquet areas, work efficiently under changing circumstances, and adjust quickly to last-minute changes or revised layouts. The position demands strong teamwork and communication skills to support smooth event operations in coordination with other banquet staff.

Requirements

• Ability to read floor plans
• Follow instructions
• Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
• Physically capable of frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and repetitive movements

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior experience in banquet setup
