About The Position
Please come join our team as an on-call Server for Banquet events located in the Renaissance Daytona Beach Oceanfront Hotel in Daytona Beach, Florida. We are looking for an experienced Servers. Previous serving experience is required. Local candidates only, non-smoking position. Position Summary: The On-Call Banquet Server is responsible for providing high-quality food and beverage service at events such as weddings, conferences, and private functions. This role works on an as-needed basis, assisting with event setup, service, and breakdown while ensuring excellent guest experiences.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, serving, or customer service preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25–50 lbs
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Food handler or alcohol service certification (if required by employer)
Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications (tables, linens, chairs, place settings)
- Serve food and beverages in a professional and timely manner
- Monitor guest needs and respond promptly to requests
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness throughout the event
- Assist with buffet service or plated meal delivery
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation standards
- Break down event spaces and assist with post-event cleanup
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
