About The Position

The position involves greeting guests with enthusiasm and friendliness, serving alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards, and answering guest questions about food, beverages, and facilities. The role requires maintaining a professional appearance, developing relationships with guests, and providing the highest level of service. Responsibilities include delivering food orders to tables, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The employee must be punctual, in uniform, and ready to work, while also following checklists and standard operating procedures. The position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in a service-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of catering services and terminology.
  • All persons handling alcohol must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work.
  • Must have a pleasant personality and a neat appearance.
  • Must speak and understand English well enough to converse with customers, supervisors, and employees.
  • Positive, customer service-oriented attitude at all times.
  • Strong knowledge of sanitary practices.
  • Maintains proper grooming and dress code standards.
  • Work ethic encourages strong urgency and quality in a team environment.
  • Ability to work with other staff members in the facility.
  • Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Greets all guests with enthusiasm and friendliness.
  • Serves alcoholic beverages in an appropriate manner consistent with company standards.
  • Answers guest questions about food, beverages, and our facilities accurately and in a friendly manner.
  • Does side work during non-busy hours.
  • Always speaks to guests with enthusiasm.
  • Develops relationships with guests.
  • Provides the highest level of service in accordance with our standards.
  • Identifies food orders when ready and delivers items to tables in a timely manner.
  • Always maintains a professional appearance.
  • Communicates with food and beverage staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Reports to work as scheduled, in uniform, and ready to be in position.
  • Maintains professional relationships with all coworkers.
  • Follows checklists and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintains a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area.
  • Performs duties as assigned.
  • Maintains full knowledge of menus, recipes, and other pertinent information.
  • Constantly increasing knowledge of food, beverages, and other products and services.
  • Ensures that guests have a positive and memorable experience at the TCC.
  • Responsible for constant sanitation, organization, and proper food handling.
  • Prepares work area for opening, mid-shift, or closing in accordance with company standards.
  • Punches clock in full uniform, ready to work, and no earlier than five minutes prior to shift.
