We are looking for an ambitious and fun individual to join our hard working banquets team at the Le Meridien | Sheraton Charlotte Hotel. Our goal is to enhance the customer experience by having an enthusiastic staff to ensure event guests are well taken care of! Prepare all dressings and cold sauces. Ensure quality guest service and comfort at all times by monitoring the area continuously. Have a comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, specials, beverages, wines, etc. Serve all items utilizing appropriate china, glassware, silverware, garnish, and condiments. Assist servers and set up housepersons if needed. Maintain safe serve regulations when serving alcoholic beverages Assist in setting tables with linen and basic silver and glass maintaining high standard of presentation Assist in breaking down events and cleaning rooms after functions Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws Maintain equipment in good condition Report on any shortages, damages or security issues Handle reasonable guests complaints/requests and inform others when required This is an On Call position, you will be required to work atleast 2 shifts per month. One that includes a PM event.
