Banquet Server
About The Position
Roost adjacent to the Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh Downtown near Market Square are looking for a Banquet Server to join their team. This is a part-time position and will work events in Roost. As a banquet server you will set up meeting rooms and ballroom for banquets, meetings, and other social functions. Provide food and beverage for functions and maintain and clean all meeting rooms. Replenish as needed or as ordered, pick up trash and wipe up spills. During a meeting, respond to all guest requests replacing supplies, as needed ensuring proper function of all equipment. When guests are on break, refresh the meeting room by placing clean glasses and fill water pitchers on tables and remove any soiled items. Keep banquet area clean and free from trash and food particles.
Requirements
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and available for all shifts.
- Ability to work autonomously and sell effectively
- Outstanding people skills
- Trustworthy and results-driven
- May include nights, weekends and/or holidays.
- Knowledge of beer, wine & spirits
