About The Position

Banquet Team Member Non-Commission and Non-Tip position Ansley Golf Club Atlanta, GA 196 Montgomery Ferry Drive NE, Atlanta, GA, 30309 Banquet Server Duties/Responsibilities: Adheres to uniform standards while on property. Reports to duty as scheduled. Cleans equipment and service area as prescribed by side work sheets at beginning and end of shift. Checks and cleans all areas as applicable prior to meal service times. Maintains the highest standard of cleanliness and neatness in front of the house dining areas. Stocks and maintains all supplies needed for shift. Reports supply shortages to Manager on Duty. Greets Members in a warm and friendly manner within 1 minute of arrival. Takes Food and Beverage order and inputs to POS system when party orders off the menu. Delivers Food and clears any unneeded items from tables, refills beverages, checks on dining members frequently. Print out any chits from parties and end shift. Turns checks and settlements in to Manager on Duty at end of each shift. Resets or breakdown events Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to carry a tray Ability to carry plates Ability to read a BEO. Patience and customer-oriented approach Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude Have excellent listening skills and be detail-oriented Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 25 or more pounds. Ability to stand for a long period of time. Ability to work in hot or cold weather conditions. Language: Required to speak, read, write English, and do basic mathematics. Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus. Supervisory Responsibilities: None The assigned hours to these positions vary each week according to event schedules, but include working on holidays and weekends.
