Requirements

Previous experience as server in a similar banquet and event environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Working knowledge of dining and beverage service procedures.
Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations.
Necessary State Food Handler’s License(s) and Liquor Serving Permit(s).
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, to stand or walk for entirety of shift, to move tables and chairs, to carry oval trays using jack stands.

Responsibilities

Assembles banquet rooms for each event. Tables, chairs, linens, buffet items, beverages stations, bars, etc.
Ensures attractive, consistent presentation of food and beverages. Ensures that all food and beverage items are served at the correct temperature.
Serves food and beverage items to guests in accordance with established standards in a banquet/events setting.
Maintains current knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
Responds to guest requests and communicates special requests to the culinary team.
Keeps all banquet spaces clean and organized.
Keeps work area, including guest dining area, clean and organized.
