About The Position

We are seeking professional and detail-oriented Banquet Servers to assist with special events, weddings, and corporate functions at Ravenwood Golf Club. Banquet Servers are responsible for setting up event spaces, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a memorable experience.

Requirements

• Previous banquet or catering experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
• Basic understanding of F&B
• Understanding of proper use of major kitchen equipment, polishing and setting tables.
• Understanding and knowledge of food safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
• Ability to take complete direction
• Ability to work in a team environment or alone.
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a high energy environment.
• Must have problem solving abilities; be self-motivated, clean and organized.
• Organization and leadership skills
• Commitment to provide quality service and food and beverage knowledge.
• Awareness of local, state and federal health and sanitation laws.
• English language and professional communications skills are required.
• Excellent attendance is required with schedule flexibility determined by business needs.
• Behaves professionally and can be flexible in a changing environment.
• Can work jointly as well as independently with little supervision from management.
• Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand 90% of the time.
• Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms, including tables, chairs, linens, and place settings.
• Serve food and beverages in a professional and courteous manner.
• Follow event timelines and coordinate with kitchen staff for food service.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by responding to requests promptly.
• Clear tables and reset for subsequent courses or events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the event.
• Assist with breakdown and cleanup of banquet areas.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
