THE ROLE The Banquet Server is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service during banquet events and functions. This role focuses on ensuring a positive guest experience through attentive service, professionalism, and attention to detail . Banquet Servers work closely with the Banquet Captain, Banquet Manager, and other event staff to ensure smooth setup, service, and breakdown of events.

Requirements

• High School degree/GED or equivalent is .
• At least one year of experience in a Food & Beverage environment.
• Strong ability to work with other staff members in the facility .
• Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.
• Must adhere to local Food Codes.
• Position is very hands-on with excessive interaction with staff.
• Must have good oral, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• You must pay attention to detail .
• Must be results and self-driven.
• Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, managing competing demands, frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.

Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting all banquet equipment to include flatware, China, glassware, and serving pieces needed for each event.
• Prepares garnishes, beverages, condiments, and bread .
• Clean and fill salt and pepper containers, sugar dishes, creamers, etc.
• Assist with preparation and set-up of event room when necessary.
• Prepare tables with place settings as instructed.
• Establish and maintain positive client relationships.
• Breakdown tables and banquet equipment after each event.
• Clean and return serving pieces to the proper storage area.
• Other duties as assigned.
