About The Position
Part Time Banquet Server The Banquet Server is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service during events such as weddings, corporate functions, and private parties. This role ensures guests have a positive experience by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service. Salary: $18/hr - $20/hr Location: Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club 1400 Poplar Creek Drive Hoffman Estates, IL Days/Hours of Work: Days and hours vary based on events The Hoffman Estates Park District is a proactive equal-opportunity employer.
Requirements
- Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors
- Ability to lift up to 25–40 lbs (trays, equipment)
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude
