About The Position

The Radisson Cedar Rapids is hiring for On-Call Banquet Servers Property Location: Radisson Cedar Rapids Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provides exceptional guest service and ensures all guest inquires and concerns are addressed promptly Aides in preparations and s ets tables in accordance with banquet event order prior to events Provides beverage service during event Assists in maintaining buffet stations throughout the event Carries trays of plated meals to serve to guests Attentively listens to guests and anticipates any additional needs or concerns Responds to feedback from guests and staff regarding food quality and presentation Maintains updated knowledge related to current menu options, preparation methods and techniques, and ingredients Collects used dishes and glasses from tables and other public areas Assists in monitoring and upholding policies and procedures for safety of guests and team members Assists team members and other departments as needed to contribute to operational efficiency Assists in maintaining cleanliness throughout the department Performs a dditional responsibilities as assigned by l eadership Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle stressful situations with poise and professionalism Conduct work-related functions in a professional manner
