About The Position

Banquet servers are responsible for setting up events entirely and accommodating all guests at a function while circulating the room. Anticipating and providing for the needs of the guests while upholding banquet standards and following company policies. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Set up event spaces; flatware, napkins, centerpieces, glassware, arranging table placement, and building buffets. Focus on the job while staying on their feet and moving about freely, which can include bending, climbing stairs and carrying items weighing 25-50 pounds. Delivers courses of plated meals quickly/professionally while following service standards. Always adhere to health and safety standards. Follows directions efficiently and maintains positivity/energy during their shifts. Complete their tasks in a timely manner and check out with the supervisor before leaving at the end of the shift. ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

Requirements

  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Upon onboarding you must obtain food handlers and alcohol servsafe certificates.

  • Must have valid license and pass the necessary requirements of the company to drive company vehicles to our off-property banquet venues.
  • Regularly walks, stands, and lifts up to 50 lbs.
  • Seldom/Never sits or does computer work.
  • Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation.
  • Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems.
  • Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments.
  • Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
