About The Position

The position requires maintaining a positive, cheerful, and friendly demeanor with customers and co-workers. The individual will efficiently serve food in a friendly and courteous manner, following the service sequence and standards of the club according to the training manual. Adherence to Touchstone safety and security policies and procedures is essential, including reporting maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager. The employee must complete safety training and certifications, ensure a clean and professional appearance, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Clear and professional communication with others is necessary, as well as developing and maintaining positive working relationships to support team goals. The role also involves ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards, and the ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or an entire work shift. Physical tasks include reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, as well as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance.

Requirements

  • State required alcohol seller server certification and food handling certification.
  • Ability to frequently lift/move up to 30lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare coffee breaks, carts, and stations with appropriate food and beverages as stated in Banquet Event Order.
  • Prepare tables, action stations, buffets, service carts, dessert table/carts, and cordial carts.
  • Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
  • Ensure courses are cleared and tables are properly crumbed.
  • Respond to and try to fulfill any special banquet event arrangements.
  • For plated events, serve and remove tableware in accordance with Touchstone standards.
  • Replenish buffet items to ensure consistency and freshness in presentation.
  • Monitor tableware to ensure it is presentable to guests.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas.
  • Bus tables by removing and separating tableware, plate-ware, glassware, and flatware.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
