About The Position

Join Liberty Mountain Resort as a Banquet Server and create an unforgettable experience for our guests while enjoying the beauty of the mountains. This seasonal position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring that all guests receive the highest quality food and beverage service during banquet functions. You will be responsible for the execution of all banquet functions from start to finish, including set-up, service, and breakdown, while adhering to standard operating procedures. This role is perfect for those who are passionate about hospitality and eager to learn and grow in a supportive team atmosphere.

Requirements

• Flexible schedule.
• Ability to stand for the duration of a shift - up to 12 hours.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Ability to carry trays.
• Previous experience in a hospitality setting is required.
• Ability to effectively present detailed information verbally to guests and employees.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 2-day on-the-job training period, paid at a training wage.
• Seek out additional responsibilities when assigned work is complete.
• Assist Banquet Managers/Captains in the creative design of buffets and themed events.
• Work closely with the Banquet Captain to set up and turn rooms for functions.
• Complete all side work assigned by the captain in a timely manner.
• Maintain a positive, proactive attitude while working as part of a cohesive team.
• Adhere to uniform standards and maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
