About The Position

The Banquet Server at Little Creek Casino Resort is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests during events and banquets. This part-time role involves setting up banquet rooms, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for guests. The position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, with a focus on creating memorable experiences for patrons.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• One year of related experience in banquets and/or food service is required.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Have or obtain Current Washington State Food Worker Card.
• Have or obtain Class 12 Mixologist Permit or Class 13 Alcohol Server Permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area.
• Relay food and beverage orders accurately.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices.
• Anticipate guests' needs and exceed customer service expectations.
• Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Relay important information about orders, allergies, and special requests to the appropriate person.
• Respond urgently and appropriately to any concerns.
• Work as a team player to assist employees in performing their duties whenever required.
• Adhere to organization's policies and procedures, as well as state liquor laws.
• Promote positive customer relations by providing prompt, courteous, and efficient service to patrons.
• Maintain current knowledge of Food & Beverage rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Relay guest compliments and complaints to the shift manager in a timely manner.
