About The Position

The Banquet Server is responsible for preparing and delivering food and beverage items in a timely manner, providing exceptional customer service with a smile, and ensuring that all of guests have a memorable Live 5 experience.

Requirements

• Education: A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Experience: One - three years of experience in casual, buffet or fine dining restaurant is preferred.
• Ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity.
• Ability to stand and walk continually throughout a scheduled shift.
• Ability to bend, stoop and reach while carrying dishes, glasses and serving tray.
• Ability to push bus cart and carry trash/linen bags, weighing up to 35 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to use fountain soft drink, tea and coffee machines.
• Ability to read and write basic instructions.
• Knowledge of Alcohol Beverage Control laws, health regulations, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Public relation skills needed.
• Ability to read and follow instructions from Banquet.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance and mannerism.
• Assist with set-up of tables, linens, chairs, etc. for full service of banquet events.
• Provide excellent food and beverage service for banquet events.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Maintain back of the house, front of the house and side work duties for overall productivity of banquet events.
• Maintain positive and professional attitude.
• Other duties as assigned.
