Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active Lancaster County Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service Training Certification as well as any additional training / certification requirements per Marcus Hotels & Resorts, Marriott and Lancaster County.
• Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, game days and the ability to work under pressure.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry 30 lbs. and ability to stand and move throughout continuously to perform essential job functions.
• Must be detail-orientated, able to multi-task, produce high quality and accurate work as well as show professionalism in all facets of the workplace.
• Must be able to represent the company in a professional, well-groomed and courteous manner at all times.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables with china, silverware, and other service equipment in accordance with Event Order (EO) and break down assigned banquet rooms according to manager's instructions.
• Services of food and beverages according to standards and event orders.
• Prepare work areas such as coffee stations prior to function, maintain condition and cleanliness of banquet rooms, public areas, and storage areas.
• Attend all scheduled mandatory Banquet Department meetings, trainings and hotel meetings.
• Maintain standards of quality and service according to Marcus Hotels and Resorts and Marriott standards.
• Perform all other related duties and special projects as requested and/or assigned.
