About The Position

The Banquet Operations Supervisor is responsible for the setup, execution, and breakdown of all banquet and club event spaces. This is a hands-on role that requires a high level of physical activity, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Supervisor ensures all event spaces are properly prepared according to party sheets while supporting overall operational flow.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to push, pull, and move heavy equipment (tables, chair carts, etc.)
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods (4–8+ hours)
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

  • Prior banquet, event, or hospitality experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Execute and oversee banquet setups according to party sheets, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Set, reset, and break down event spaces efficiently based event schedules
  • Lead by example in completing physical setup tasks, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and equipment
  • Communicate with service staff prior to events to review setup details, timelines, and event expectations
  • Work closely with the event coordinator to ensure seamless execution of each event
  • Coordination with Chef/kitchen on timing, layouts, and equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper storage of all banquet equipment
  • Ensure all setups meet club standards for presentation and consistency
  • Assist with training and onboarding new team members on setup procedures and expectations
  • Gather and prepare equipment for cater out events and verify accuracy against gather sheet while also attending cater out
  • Communicate effectively with management and other departments regarding event needs or challenges
  • Expected to be available during busy periods (which may vary throughout the year), weekends, and operating holidays.
