Requirements

• Culinary degree or minimum of one year related high volume kitchen management experience is required.
• 3 years of previous line experience preferred.
• Ability to perform all basic cooking skills.
• Ability to perform at a high level unsupervised.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to effectively communicate and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including morning and afternoon shifts with weekend and holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly cooks.
• Produce a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guests' needs in a timely manner.
• Assume department responsibilities in the absence of the Sous Chef.
• Assist in monitoring payroll costs and overtime.
• Train department staff.
