Responsibilities

  • Event Setup & Breakdown
  • Set up banquet rooms according to BEOs (Banquet Event Orders)
  • Arrange tables, chairs, linens, staging, and equipment
  • Break down rooms efficiently after events
  • Reset rooms for upcoming functions
  • Room Maintenance & Cleanliness
  • Ensure all meeting and banquet spaces are clean and presentable at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness of back-of-house banquet areas and storage rooms
  • Remove trash and debris promptly during and after events
  • Equipment Handling
  • Transport tables, chairs, risers, dance floors, and other equipment safely
  • Assist with audiovisual setup when required
  • Maintain and store banquet equipment properly
  • Guest & Team Support
  • Respond promptly to guest and event staff requests
  • Assist banquet servers during events as needed
  • Communicate effectively with banquet captains and supervisors
  • Work Environment
  • Fast-paced hotel or event setting
  • Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and bending
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
  • Indoor and occasional outdoor event setups
