Responsibilities
- Event Setup & Breakdown
- Set up banquet rooms according to BEOs (Banquet Event Orders)
- Arrange tables, chairs, linens, staging, and equipment
- Break down rooms efficiently after events
- Reset rooms for upcoming functions
- Room Maintenance & Cleanliness
- Ensure all meeting and banquet spaces are clean and presentable at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of back-of-house banquet areas and storage rooms
- Remove trash and debris promptly during and after events
- Equipment Handling
- Transport tables, chairs, risers, dance floors, and other equipment safely
- Assist with audiovisual setup when required
- Maintain and store banquet equipment properly
- Guest & Team Support
- Respond promptly to guest and event staff requests
- Assist banquet servers during events as needed
- Communicate effectively with banquet captains and supervisors
- Work Environment
- Fast-paced hotel or event setting
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and bending
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Indoor and occasional outdoor event setups
