Sets up, cleans, and maintains meeting and banquet rooms, service corridors, storerooms and public function areas in a safe manner and in accordance with Event Orders (EOs). JOB DUTIES The Banquet Setup Supervisor contributes to the planning, organization, and training necessary to achieve department objectives They will assist Banquet leadership with insuring that all meetings and banquet functions are set up correctly and timely based on the information in the detail sheets and Banquet Event Orders Ensure meeting rooms appearance are meeting and exceeding standards as well as maintaining compliance with all health and safety regulations at all times Direct and verify the proper set-up and break down of all function areas as required by banquet event orders Monitor the Banquet, Catering, and Meeting room facilities for any Housekeeping or Engineering needs and report deficiencies to appropriate department Check tables arrangements, glassware, chairs, staging, and linen needed for all events Prepare reports, detailing the function and comments from meeting planner(s) Constant inspection and evaluation of banquet rooms, functions, serving and set staff performance Monitor inventories of all required materials and order as necessary Work alongside setup crew, coaching & counseling when applicable Prepare assignments for staff Conduct pre-shift meetings Hold staff to the highest level of service expectations Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
