About The Position

The Don CeSar, a legendary landmark known as the "Pink Palace" on St. Pete Beach, Florida, is seeking a Banquet Houseperson/Set-Up Supervisor. This role involves leading and supervising a team of Banquet Housepersons to ensure the efficient and seamless set-up and breakdown of event spaces. The supervisor will coordinate with banquet coordinators and other departments to precisely execute event requirements, oversee the proper arrangement of furniture, tables, and equipment, and ensure compliance with event specifications. Key responsibilities also include training and mentoring team members, maintaining cleanliness and organization of banquet areas, collaborating with the banquet team to exceed guest expectations, and upholding safety and sanitation standards. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a Banquet Houseperson or in a similar role
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong physical stamina, as the position involves lifting and carrying heavy items
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of Banquet Housepersons, ensuring efficient and seamless set-up and breakdown of event spaces
