About The Position

The Banquet House Person will manually set up ceremony site, reception site, and all meeting rooms ensuring the guests’ expectations are exceeded.

  • Ability to lift and move multiple tables and chairs and podiums weighing up to 50 lbs. through a crowded room.
  • This position requires considerable physical activity on a continuous basis throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

  • Understands and adheres to the Ponte values, safety and service standards.
  • Understands and adhere to environmental standards set by the winery.
  • Ensure the safety of guests and associates.
  • Set up all meeting and event rooms to exceed the guests’ expectations and ensure guest safety. This includes considerable physical activity in transporting awkward and heavy materials such as staging, tables, chairs, dance floors, etc., from storage area to meeting and event rooms.
  • Communicate with supervisor throughout shift to ensure efficiency.
  • Break down all meeting and event rooms when requested by supervisor.
  • Maintain established cleaning schedule of meeting and event rooms so the rooms are guest ready at all times.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
  • Perform any other tasks as requested by Management.
