The Hilton Orlando, located in the International Drive area next to the Orange County Convention Center, is looking for a Banquet Cook to join their culinary team! At Hilton Orlando our mission is to be the best hotel in Orlando to work and to stay. The resort features 249,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, with picturesque outdoor venues and large, modern rooms with natural lighting. Hilton Orlando is connected to the South side of the Orlando Orange County Convention Center by a covered walkway, adding more convenience to group travelers. The banquets team can support events for up to 4500 pax. The ideal candidate will have previous cooking experience in a commercial setting, a great approach to teamwork, and a genuine passion to want to develop and grow their career. Shift Pattern\: This is a full-time position with shifts starting as early as 3\:00 AM or 4\:00 AM and as late as 9\:00 AM or 10\:00 AM in the morning. Full availability will be required to work shifts across weekdays, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
• Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products
• Stock and maintain designated food station(s)
• Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
• Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
• Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed
