About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: The Banquet Cook is responsible for preparing food for banquets ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Prior line cooking experience including sauté, grill, fry oven and steam. Posses a team player attitude and be flexible. Understand and have basic knowledge of sanitation procedures. Prior cooking experience plus 1-2 years prior cooking experience Qualifications:

Requirements

  • Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
  • Must present a neat and professional appearance.
  • Work requires teamwork with other staff members.
  • Ability to read and follow directions from recipes.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, and pull/push up to 150 pounds.
  • Able to work in temperatures ranging between 40 and 110.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Able to bend, lift, and reach throughout shift.

Nice To Haves

  • Work prefers 2-3 years cook experience.
