Saucon Valley Country Club (SVCC) is a picturesque private club retreat offering a myriad of exceptional recreational and social experiences with three 18-hole championship golf courses. We host a variety of events throughout the year and we need dedicated culinarians to ensure our members and guests have a delicious and memorable meal. Position Overview: SVCC is searching for Banquet and Production Cooks to join our exceptional culinary team. Led by Executive Chef Tim Rios, we are looking for motivated individuals who have experience in a high-volume kitchen.

Requirements

  • Proven cooking experience in high-volume kitchen.
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
  • Familiar with industry’s best practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary school training a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
  • Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
  • Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions.
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food.
  • Stock inventory appropriately.
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and membership.
