About The Position

Assist in the preparation and execution of high quality, creative menus for corporate events, private social events, Sunday brunch, and weddings Essential functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Conforms to AAA Four Diamond Standards Assist with prepping and plating for larger events, weddings, brunch, and event live stations. Efficiently run smaller parties like sandwich, mixed grill lunches, or hors d'oeuvres events alone Coordinate with banquet chefs on larger parties Sets up plating line for functions and assists with plating duties. Prepares various meats, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking in grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment. Organizational skills Positive interpersonal skills required. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and correspondence. Perform all other duties as assigned by management. Fully aware of and comply with Inns policies and procedures as identified in the procedure manual and handbook. Adhere to all Health and Safety policies and procedures. Work environment Working conditions are based in a hospitality setting. High energy/positive work environment Associates may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. Noise level in work environment is usually moderate. Exposure to cleaning solvents and chemicals. Some exposure to smoke, steam, high temperatures and humidity. Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.

• Maintains high standards for work area and appearance and presents self in highly professional manner to staff and guest.

• Minimum of 1 year experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
