The Role As a Banquet Cook, you prepare food for meetings, banquets, and catered events. You support the culinary team by producing high quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring timely service for large groups.

Requirements

  • Previous cooking or banquet culinary experience preferred
  • Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high volume environment
  • Team oriented, dependable, and safety focused
  • Must be flexible to work any shifts, including holidays and weekends

Responsibilities

  • Prepare banquet menu items following standardized recipes
  • Set up stations and maintain organization during service
  • Assist with buffets, plated meals, and event food production
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment
  • Follow food safety, portion control, and presentation standards
  • Support kitchen operations with prep work and other tasks as needed
