About The Position

The Banquet Cook position at Andaz Scottsdale Resort is a part-time role focused on providing culinary support during PM shifts. The role requires an intermediate line cook with good communication and culinary skills. The ideal candidate will have hotel cooking experience and a culinary degree, along with a professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures. The cook will work single stations in the kitchen and will require significant supervision and training.

Requirements

  • Grill and sauté experience required.
  • 2 years of previous banquet experience in a busy restaurant required.
  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform all basic cooking skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and standards.
  • Work single stations in the kitchen under supervision.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
  • Assist in the preparation of banquet events and functions.
