The Banquet Chef will work directly with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to execute daily event preparation and service. Nestled inside our boutique arts focused hotel are an array of beautiful event spaces. On-premises events, from wedding celebrations, charity galas, corporate retreats and meetings, make this lovely space a place for Richmond locals and travelers to co-mingle in an elegant, yet laid back environment. The ideal candidate must be passionate about cooking, self-motivated, proactive and organized. They have a desire to learn new techniques, and want to grow within a team of thoughtful, hardworking chefs! They should have a minimum 2 years in banquet event experience and a serious interest in growing their culinary career. They must be available to work a rotating schedule that includes all major holidays, weekends, over time and 6-day work weeks whenever necessary. They must have the ability to work independently while delivering exceptional experiences!
