About The Position

The Banquet Captain at Embassy Suites by Hilton St. Augustine is responsible for overseeing food and beverage operations during hotel functions. This role involves supervising service quality, assisting in planning and executing banquet functions, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Previous experience in laundry is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Ability to work in high-temperature environments.
  • Completion of a four-year college or university program or equivalent education and experience is preferred.
  • Two to four years of related experience and/or training is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the set-up and break down of food and beverage operations during hotel functions.
  • Supervise food and beverage service to ensure top-notch quality.
  • Assist in planning and executing various banquet functions.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction and prompt response to requests.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
