About The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Banquet Captain to join our hospitality team at Marinaj Banquets and Events. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the overall operations of our banquet department, ensuring that all events run smoothly and that our guests receive exceptional service. As a Banquet Captain, you will oversee the setup and breakdown of events, coordinate with kitchen staff and servers, and ensure that all guest needs are met promptly and efficiently. Your keen eye for detail will be crucial in maintaining the high standards of our service and presentation. You will also be expected to lead and train staff, ensuring that they are well-prepared to deliver outstanding service during events. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in banquet operations, with a minimum of three years in a similar role. You should possess strong leadership skills, allowing you to effectively manage a team and foster a positive working environment. Multitasking in a fast-paced environment is essential, as you will be juggling various responsibilities, from coordinating event logistics to addressing guest inquiries. Your ability to communicate effectively with both staff and guests will be key to your success in this position. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, with expected hours ranging from 6 to 24 per week, primarily during evening and night shifts.
