About The Position

We are in search for a Banquet Captain to join our Food & Beverage department, reporting to the Catering & Events Manager. This role will liaise with the Catering & Events Manager and the Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, or Banquet Chef to meet customer expectations. Your main duties and responsibilities will include quality and level of services, preparing the venue, and coordinating the service of meals. Why The Country Club at DC Ranch? Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Food and Beverage or Banquet Captain, or similar Supervisory experience.
  • Exceptional ability to execute banquets and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in supervising banquet venue staff.
  • Ability to collaborate with Catering & Events Manager and the Executive Chef.
  • Extensive knowledge of catering equipment and venue requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of hospitality industry best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Food service experience required for banquets in high end restaurant setting, hotel, or country club.
