Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Knowledge of restaurant functions including food planning, sanitation, security, and personnel management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well with a variety of personality types.
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • 2 years of supervisory leadership experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks involving walking or standing.
  • Includes stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive motions.
  • Indoor work with potential exposure to temperature changes.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-year hospitality or banquet experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Requisition additional help based on the banquet schedule.
  • Direct table setups, decorations, and serving order.
  • Ensure servers are prepared and service is timely, quiet, and courteous.
  • Supervise and train wait staff and setup team.
  • Actively participate in room setup and service.
  • Manage banquet check control and inventory equipment.
  • Comply with security, safety, emergency, and energy procedures.
  • Meet and greet hotel guests, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Operate the banquet department in the manager’s absence.
  • Follow company policies and embrace O’Reach, Green Team, Guest Service, and other company cultures.
  • Perform other duties as required.
