Our banquet team plays a vital role in executing weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings with professionalism and warmth. We are currently seeking reliable and service-oriented individuals to join our Banquet Team, with opportunities to work as a hybrid Banquet Captain, Banquet Setup Attendant, and Banquet Server/Bartender, depending on business needs. Banquet team members are responsible for setting up, serving, and breaking down events while delivering attentive and polished guest service. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced event environment, and the ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

  • Supervise banquet staff during events
  • Timely execution of all Food and Beverage services including, but not limited to food stations, buffets, plated meals, beverage stations, and bar service
  • Serve as point of contact between clients, kitchen, and banquet team
  • Maintain service standards, timelines, and guest satisfaction
  • Review all Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) prior to each event to ensure accuracy, completeness, and clarity of all details, including room setup, timelines, menu selections, service style, and special requests
  • Proactively communicate with the Sales and Banquets team to resolve discrepancies, clarify details, and confirm last-minute changes before and during events
  • Serve as the on-site leader responsible for executing events exactly as outlined in the BEO, ensuring alignment between Sales, Culinary, and Banquet teams
  • Communicate BEO details clearly to banquet staff, assigning duties and confirming expectations to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional guest satisfaction
  • Assist with training and mentoring staff
  • Complete thorough and timely post-event recaps following each function, documenting event outcomes, service execution, guest feedback, staffing performance, and any operational challenges
  • Communicate all relevant post-event details to management and ownership to ensure transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Identify successes, areas for improvement, and any follow-up items related to future events, client relationships, or operational processes
  • Maintain accurate and professional documentation to support event evaluations, staff coaching, and overall banquet operations
  • Possess or attain proficiency with Toast POS system; to facilitate a la carte order entry when required, present guest checks to guests, and complete end-of-shift reporting and cash drops
  • Manually set up and break down tables, chairs, linens, staging, and décor in accordance with our high standards of quality
  • Follow floor plans and BEO instructions accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces
  • Safely move and store banquet equipment
  • Provide professional food and beverage service during events
  • Serve plated meals, buffets, and beverages efficiently
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests promptly
  • Maintain a clean and organized service area
  • Work closely with kitchen and banquet staff
  • Previous banquet, catering, or hospitality experience required
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
