About The Position

Atrium Hospitality is currently recruiting a Banquet Bartender for our Banquets department. Join a team of Embassy Suites employees who are passionate about servicing guests, one another all while taking care of the people who make it happen, our associates. The hotel has 283 suites and has 6000 sq. ft. of event space. It is conveniently located in Norman with less than 30-minute commute to and from the center of Oklahoma City. Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Cleveland County Food Handler Certification.
  • Oklahoma ABLE Liquor License.
  • TIPs/RServing/ServSafe certification or equivalent alcohol server certification acquired upon hire during onboarding.

Nice To Haves

  • 6 months of bartending experience.
  • Prior bar and/or restaurant experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while following standard recipes to ensure established control systems are followed.
  • Promote food and beverage sales.
  • Provide exceptional service to guests by promptly welcoming and courteously serving guests.
  • Perform side duties such as cleaning, garnish preparation, miscellaneous preparation, stocking, etc.
  • Ensure all alcohol is removed from counters and tables prior to closing time, complete closing duties.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the bar.
  • Comply with all liquor laws, health regulations, and company policies.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
  • All other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
