Requirements

  • A warm and charismatic communicator who thrives on personal connection.
  • Highly knowledgeable in drink preparation and bar operations, with an eye for detail and consistency.
  • Adaptable in fast-paced, high-volume settings and calm under pressure.
  • Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and guest requests while maintaining poise and a polished demeanor.
  • Prior bartending or food & beverage experience required; knowledge of local/state liquor laws a must.
  • Holds or is willing to obtain a valid alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol, RVP, or state/local equivalent) in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, following standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Engage guests with a welcoming, knowledgeable, and energetic presence that reflects the spirit of Unscripted Hospitality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, tools, garnishes, and supplies.
  • Ensure accurate cash handling, POS transactions, and reconciliation of guest tabs.
  • Check guest identification and uphold all local and state beverage service laws and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with servers and culinary staff to ensure timely and seamless service.
  • Manage inventory by monitoring par levels, restocking items, and reporting shortages to management.
  • Handle guest concerns or special requests with discretion, professionalism, and empathy.
  • Participate in setting up and breaking down the bar for daily service or special events.
  • Support a respectful, team-oriented environment that values safety, professionalism, and mutual support.
