Requirements

• Ability to work independently or in team environment.
• Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with management, staff, and guests.
• Relevant experience in a high quality, high volume catering and convention environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to set up and break down bars, maintain product and equipment throughout event and maintain organized and clean bar.
• Set up Bar according to BEO
• Assist Bartender in setting up bar
• Ensure all appropriate equipment and product is in place at function for bartender
• Display appropriate product and glassware as instructed by captain
• Display appropriate décor as instructed by captain
• Verify product and quantities as appropriate for the function
• Be familiar with BEO and group information
• Maintain product and glassware throughout function as well as any other bartender needs
• Ready for service 15 minutes prior to start time on BEO or as instructed by captain
• Communicate with guests to obtain drink order
• Prepare beverage as per guest request or department standard
• Keep bar clean and organized free of dirty glassware, trash etc…
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
