About The Position

The Banquet Barback at Accor is responsible for supporting the bar operations during events by setting up and breaking down bar areas, replenishing supplies, and assisting bartenders. This role is crucial in maintaining a clean and organized environment while ensuring that guests receive prompt service and high-quality beverages.

Requirements

• Exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Knowledge of banquet protocol.
• Fluency in speaking and reading English.
• Thorough knowledge of wine, liquor, and beer.
• Knowledge of inventory control.
• Familiarity with cocktail ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down all bar set-ups as requested by guests.
• Replenish wine, liquor, and beer as requested by bartenders.
• Replenish glassware and garnishes as requested by bartenders.
• Bus all used glassware during functions to maintain a clean and tidy appearance in function and meeting rooms.
• Assist in preparing drinks in the absence of the bartender.
• Open multiple bottles of wine for banquet dinner service as instructed by the bartender.
• Control inventory of glassware.
• Break down all bar set-ups, returning wine, beer, liquor, and soda to locked storage.
