Your day to day as a Banquet Bar Tender As a Part-Time/Full-Time Banquet Bar Tender at The Park Club, you will create a welcoming atmosphere for our members and guests from the moment they arrive. Your responsibility will be to accurately record and relay food and beverage orders, showcasing your attention to detail and understanding of their preferences and dietary needs. You will ensure timely and efficient service while adhering to our high standards of presentation and quality. Anticipatory service will be key, as you proactively address members' needs throughout their visit. Collaboration with serving staff and banquet captains will ensure smooth coordination of orders, while maintaining cleanliness and organization within all dining areas. Your role will also involve executing payment transactions and assisting during special events and functions, all while upholding our commitment to excellence and professionalism in every aspect of your work. Are you the Banquet Bar Tender we're looking for? To succeed as a Banquet Bar Tender at The Park Club, several essential skills and qualifications are required. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and possess previous bartending experience, ideally in a banquet or high-volume setting, to ensure a seamless service experience. A solid understanding of mixology, wine, beer, and cocktail preparation will be crucial in meeting our guests' diverse preferences. Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must, as you will engage with members and guests to create memorable dining experiences. The ability to lift 50+ lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods is important for maintaining an efficient pace in a busy environment. Alcohol certification is mandatory. A reliable, punctual demeanor and a professional appearance are critical to embodying the values and standards at The Park Club.
