Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare function space: Vacuum, remove trash, set up supplies (tables, chairs, AV equipment) per Event Order, ensure AV equipment works.
  • Build relationships with group leaders: Assist with AV/thermostat use, provide supplies, inform about policies.
  • Enhance guest experience: Refresh supplies (ice water, candy), remove trash, enforce Conference Center policies.
  • Maintain Conference Center: Clean and break down space, vacuum, check light bulbs, and report maintenance needs.
  • Manage AV equipment: Ensure proper storage, safety, and functionality, clean equipment, and report issues.
  • Oversee supplies: Notify manager when supplies (candy, pens, etc.) are low, restock as needed.
  • Open/close Conference Center: Manage doors, lighting, music, thermostats, and security.
  • Foster good relationships: Collaborate with other departments, ensure guest satisfaction, respond to feedback.
  • Support growth: Share ideas with manager, contribute to team results.
  • Adapt to evolving role: Responsibilities may change as resort and position evolve.
