About The Position

Utah Housing Corporation (UHC) in West Valley City, is seeking a full-time, in-office Bankruptcy and Foreclosure Specialist to join our Mortgage Servicing Department. We are looking for a motivated, organized professional who excels at managing complex, time-sensitive tasks, and delivering outstanding customer service. In this role, you will work closely with attorneys, homeowners, vendors, and the members of the public while representing UHC with professionalism and care. The Bankruptcy and Foreclosure Specialist position pays between $45,677 and $59,749 annually, based on education and experience. As our Bankruptcy and Foreclosure Specialist, you will take on a critical role in the foreclosure and bankruptcy processes by ensuring timelines are met, documentation is complete, and regulations are strictly followed. Responsibilities include managing foreclosure files, documenting communications, and maintaining compliance with FHA, FNMA, and VA guidelines. You will provide direct customer service by responding to calls, conducting weekly outreach to borrowers, coordinating property inspections, resolving title issues, and working with attorneys to keep everything running smoothly. The ideal candidate for our Bankruptcy and Foreclosure Specialist role will have a BS or BA in Business, Finance, or a related field, although relevant experience may be considered. A high school diploma or GED is required along with at least one year of experience in mortgage servicing, bankruptcy, or foreclosure. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, knowledge of the mortgage industry, and strong communication skills are essential. Requirements
