The Banking Specialist III - Sales position at First Bank is a multifaceted role that combines both operational and sales functions within a retail branch. This position is designed for individuals who are adept at managing client relationships and driving sales through a comprehensive understanding of the bank's product offerings. As a Banking Specialist, you will be responsible for expanding existing client relationships and building new ones by identifying client needs and providing tailored solutions using the full range of products available across all bank lines. This includes promoting alternative delivery systems such as Online Banking, Mobile Banking, and ATM services to enhance client engagement and satisfaction. In this role, you will work towards achieving both branch and individual sales goals, which involves conducting follow-ups on leads, referrals, and prospecting opportunities. You will also participate in business calls alongside the Branch Manager and other representatives to foster new business relationships. A key aspect of your responsibilities will be to drive branch profitability by understanding client needs and encouraging them to consider additional bank products that may benefit them. This includes participating in sales events and community service activities to help the bank meet its Community Reinvestment Act goals. Additionally, you will provide excellent client service by efficiently opening new accounts and maintaining existing ones, quoting rates and terms, and assisting with loan applications. The role requires NMLS registration and may involve coaching junior Banking Specialists on products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and customer service, with the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
