Mechanics Bank is currently searching for a full time Banking Services Lead to join their team at the Berkley North Branch. This role independently and accurately performs a full range of teller, new account, and maintenance transactions according to established procedures, delivering excellent customer service. The Banking Services Lead works closely with the sales team to achieve performance goals and meet customer financial needs through ethical referrals. They support the Retail Banking Services Officer and execute operational tasks and reporting for the branch. The position acts as a subject matter expert on operational policies and procedures in the absence of the Retail Branch Services Manager or Retail Banking Services Officer, maintaining knowledge of compliance and regulatory items. The Lead uses sound judgment, balancing service and risk when assisting with transactional approvals, and provides dual control support while adhering to bank policies and procedures.
