First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a highly engaging, customer-focused, goals-driven, Customer Service Representative II to join our Kahana in Maui.

Requirements

• Associates degree in business and/or equivalent work skills required
• Upon acceptance into the position, mandatory completion of FHB CSR School
• Must be able to sit, see, hear, speak, walk, and use finger dexterity to perform the essential duties of the job
• Minimum of two years as a commercial savings teller in a financial institution (i.e., within FHB, minimum two years teller/clerk teller experience) or two years in a retail sales environment selling products and services
• Oral and interpersonal communication skills required
• Must be able to type 35wpm
• Ability to use judgement and discretion regarding customer transactions and confidential information required
• PC skills in word processing required
• Completion of consumer credit course such as FHB Consumer Credit Training Seminar
• Must be knowledgeable and capable of accepting consumer credit application

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to bank customers both inside and outside the branch
• Promote the Bank's products and services, including informing customers of benefits and features
• Act as an initial contact for referral of the customer to personal bankers and specialized areas of the bank
• Project a professional image and appearance as a representative of the Bank
